My character has accidentally taken a potion turning them into a child, with no recollection of adulthood. Send ☃ for them bumping into your character while in this state.

It smelled weird here, it hurt his nose. The blond huffs unhappily and rubs his face for a moment or two, letting out a quiet whine. It’s the sound of footsteps that make him jump, the appearance of someone that makes him hiss before darting under the closest car. Luckily none of them had been turned on in a while.

It was strange being back here, back in this place that he’s supposed to remember. The other people, the ‘Burners’ Mike had called them. They greeted him warmly enough, though his lack of memory seemed to sadden them. Chuck was never really sure why, maybe he was supposed to know them? The lack of memory didn’t stop Mike from treating him affectionately, like he still remembered. 

Maybe that was why the brunet saw no issue with just running up behind him and scooping Chuck up into his arms, earning a startled squeal.

“Mike!”

Actually… it took a while. There was something always familiar there, a warm sensation that just seemed like it was natural. Chuck didn’t even really pay it much mind at first, finding the feeling normal and comforting even if all his memories hadn’t come back. He’d remembered Mike a little more over time, fleeting glimpses that came back, past events that finally clicked into place.

Mike was his best friend, it was natural to feel these things, right?

Maybe. At least, he’d thought so at first. But then it started to become a little too clear how empty things would feel when the other was gone. The lingering heat on his shoulder from a hand casually placed there was way too profound for such a small action. Really, it all fell into place one evening as he looked up from his programming to observe the other working under Mutt’s hood, the faint look of frustration being rather endearing.

Oh…

Oh no.

No, he had it bad.

The bat falls backward, squealing in surprise as he goes.

“Mikey!”

Mike is holding Chuck close to him, his arm resting around his waist, his fingers lightly brushing against the other's ears, a small growl being given off.

Chuck simply shudders a little at that, unsure after two weird hallucinations that had scared him half to death. Still, the contact and gentle touch to his ears helps immensely, slowing the bat’s breathing a bit. 

“Not.... again...” please don’t let it happen again.

The bat heaves at that, currently using a paper bag to breathe into while trying to keep a hold on himself. There isn’t really anything apparent on what triggered the attack but it had fully placed him on the floor of the garage, wheezing and sweating as he tried to find comfort.

Mike was the one who provided the bag, at least. It helps. Whimpering, Chuck simply closes his eyes and concentrates on breathing even. His free hand paws around before it finds Mike’s, gripping firmly.
