Something I love about Iván is how loyal and protective he is over the people he cares about. Like once he recognizes you as one of his people, he'll legit go to the end of the earth with you. He's very ride and die.

I'm sorry but Iván's right about this. I mean yeah there was a traitor among them for real right now but still throughout the show Marcos was always so quick to think the worst of his friends. Carol especially was a victim of this and she was the girl he loved.

Remember my tags on this post ? Yeah actually I'd like to add a third thing I'd probably change and it's Fermín dying.

I know his main purpose in the show was for him to fight the bad guys and his happy ending was getting to beat the bad guys and save everyone and all that. I get that. It's great that he got to do it but why can't he also get to rest and finally be truly happy ? Why can't he both fulfill his goal and get to live his happy life with the love of his life ?

I also hate it from María's side because, while yes, her story was always to find her way back to her son, and her finally getting to have her son by her side and have a relationship with him was always meant to be her happy end, but why can't she also have the love her life by her side ? Why can't she get it all ?

It makes me think of what she says in episode 10 of season 7 :

"Me he pasado la vida dando tumbos. Y cuando por fin encuentro algo que me hace feliz, me lo quiten de las manos sin poderlo disfrutar. Yo sólo quería una vida normal. Como todo el mundo. No sé casarme de blanco, tener una familia, una casa... ¿ Es tanto pedir ? "

And apparently, according to the writers of the show, it was, indeed, too much to ask 😩 She got to marry but not live the rest of her life with her husband. She has her son and all the other survivors of this hell they lived aka Héctor, Jacinta, Martín ect... and she'll live a normal life from now on but still.

I get that it's probably the point for both characters that it's unfair and it's for the tragedy™ but 😩 and did I ask for tragedy ? No I did not ask 😩

Also, I have to say that I love how, despite the fact they were at odds at this moment, Julia and Iván reach out to each other when Carol died.
