Yeah and that’s definitely dangerous / urgent even if its not like a “physical thing” per say because it can translate into some real bad damage

If we're giving our opinions on the coping meme, I think it's disrespectful to people with mental illnesses in general. All too often, it's used to disparage how mentally ill people, especially trauma survivors, cope, by painting coping methods (such as caffeine self-medication for ADHD or trauma-based roleplay for trauma survivors) as irrational and something to be mocked. Additionally, as an autistic person, I feel it can often mock special interests unintentionally as "weird coping methods."

half the reason i don't interact with the majority of the su fandom anymore is bc it tries to turn shipping into some sort of Moral Responsibility. i find it kind of ridiculous, like, we're literally talking about dynamics between fictional characters, this is a matter of taste and opinion, there is no Higher Moral Law here that applies universally...

That’s cool, except lots of shitty people excuse their shitty behavior towards ace people by saying “well I’m ace too so uwu I can say whatever I want about ace people uwu” so it becomes “us” and “them” when people have different stances on a subject. I have nothing in common with you, so you’ll still be “them”.
