It's the third anniversary of @underewind and Rewind's birthday on the 13th of December so these guys (and yes, even the brat) will be answering a few sent-in questions!

To Penumbra: Do you feel some empathy for the monster whose soul you use? And can you communicate with Ghost because of that, or not really? I assume he at least knows of his presence since he feeds on his magic..

Penumbra: Empathy for that particular SOUL? Why should I? I will admit I am rather fascinated by it; monster SOULs usually don't persist after dusting, especially not for as long as this. I would like to study it more closely, like the good old days when I was a bit more acquainted with that SOUL, but San--Rewind is far too possessive of it. I should have told that soft-hearted fool to not grow so attached when I had the chance. Too late now, I suppose. Penumbra: Though I'm sorry, what is this ghost you speak of? I know I am capable of remarkable things but speaking with the dead isn't one of them.

Alright, penumbra; what's your story?

Penumbra: My story? Aah, now you wish to hear it. Very well, but it's a rather long one so I'll keep it brief to not take up your oh so precious time.

Penumbra: Participated in the war between humans and monsters, and offered advice to the royals along with weapon assistance. Became the royal scientist afterward and created the most magnificent things monsterkind had ever known, their survival depending on some. Fell into one of my creations, my greatest in fact, though I won't go into detail as to how it happened.

Penumbra: Ended up in the compact void of UndeRewind and watched everything fall to pieces. Eventually managed to escape my prison and hitched a ride in my dear old friend's shadow while also leeching off the SOUL of his brother. Not my greatest moment but here we are, the open end of my story with still so much left to explore.

Penumbra dear, I see you haven’t gotten any questions! If I may ask, how did you come to meet Brat? Perhaps if you don’t wish to answer that, may I ask your favorite flower instead?

Penumbra: The pity you take on me is riveting, my dear, thank you.

Penumbra: I never met the so-called child face to face but I've watched them with great interest. "Why haven't I", you ask? Let's just say that I was incapable of ever directly meeting them and leave it at that.

Penumbra: As for flowers... I am particular towards this Surface flower called a "red spider lily". Its symbolism with death and reincarnation is oddly fascinating.

Penumbra, what's your favorite thing to do?

Penumbra: And it is finally my turn without the child virus thing interrupting me. Ah, this is the second round? Better late than never, no?

Penumbra: As for your question... Call me an old-fashioned scientist, but I enjoy collecting data. Be it through extensive research or simple eavesdropping, I like to soak up all kinds of information and store it for later use. then again, being able to meld with shadows has proven quite useful in gathering all kinds of juicy data. Ooh, the things I could tell you! But hush now, it's all a secret until it becomes beneficial to me.

It's the third anniversary of @underewind and Rewind's birthday on the 13th of December, and although I am very busy and my own birthday is tomorrow (the 10th), I want to open my Ask box for questions aimed at a few characters from the UndeRewind cast and yes, they will answer in character! So here we go~

What is the main gangs relationship to one another and others? (Brat, penumbra, rewind and paps)

Brat: I'll answer this one! I was once upon a time the cyclop's daughter, can you believe it? Or well, technically this body was. Adopted though, the goat mom and skeledad didn't make a human baby.

Brat: The dusty guy is the cyclop's little brother. I had a lot of fun toying with that one, he was so gullible. The goopy creepy old man is, umm... Huh, actually, I have no idea what his relationship is with me or the others.

Penumbra: I am an old co-worker of Rewind's, back when I was the Dreemurr's royal scientist. I am also the creator of—

Brat: Booooredom! You're the creator of boredom. This is why nobody sent you a question during this anniversary thing.
