She tries to rein in her enthusiasm. She hadn’t had a wolf around in so long, especially one that appeared to share in her talents. Wouldn’t that be something? To have a friend who can do everything you could?

Her older brother had never awoken as a shifter. She had thought herself the only one since her parents died.

“You... Looking for something?” Robin managed, cursing her awkwardness internally. “We haven’t had any deer pass through yet, if you’re... hunting...”

“After all this time, it’s really something to realize that there are others out there like me.” Robin paused to laugh, swallowing her emotions. No need crying while you’re the new kid in class.

“I’m Robin. Nice to meet you.” Though, she wondered if this shifter knew her name. Kind of inescapable when your father was from the legend of the hero of time.

Terrible First Meeting Starters [accepting] [x]

“I’m sorry! I can’t exactly see too well right now!” Robin’s voice was barely a whisper, yet it tugged and shouted in all of its tone. She had better than average eyesight in the nighttime, but in sheer darkness, she was just as bumbling and blind as a bat. 

Armed with only her flashlight and other heightened senses on full alert, she had sent the beam right at Ramona. The dust particles were mesmerizing in the white light, and for a moment, she forgot what they were doing.

Oh, right. Exploring the abandoned school building. Which was a terrible thing to do, but she wanted to see if anything historical or interesting was left behind. Seems that Ramona had had the same idea, at least, Robin could assume she did.

“What are you doing here?” The wolf finally asked. No assumptions.

Raven admitted as she wrapped her arms 𝚝𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚎𝚛 around her knees as she finished wiping away the last of her tears to prevent Apple from seeing the ridiculous amount of tears she was holding back. She hadn't meant to disrupt Apple's beauty sleep after such a crazy day, but hearing ' I love you! ' be shouted at her by her own mother wasn't something she could easily ignore. Because it made her question if her mother 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚕𝚢 loved her or was just manipulating her to achieve freedom from her mirror prison. Of course she came to the 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚌𝚕𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗 it was the latter yet deep down Raven still held onto the belief that her mother did love her, she just had a 𝚏𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚢 way of showing it.

Daring was never one for prolonged awkward silences, as such a thing was definitely not very charming. But what hexactly was there to say? He didn’t want to say it outright, but uncertainty had been plaguing his mind. Was he really not destined to be Apple’s future prince? If so, what was his destiny? And what would his father think?

He pushed those thoughts aside as he continued to walk alongside the princess. The silence between the Royals lasted long enough, he thought. It was time to say something lighthearted.

“So... Apple. Our thronework for Hero Training involves catching falling damsels again. Won’t you give me the grand pleasure of being my partner?”
