Rewtrc isn't that good of a resident evil movie, but it IS a great movie. It's so fun, it's fun to watch and being resident evil flavored makes it even better. If you don't spend the movie indignant about how much the story is off, it's so fun to watch and they threw so much money at it that it looks gorgeous and the soundtrack is awesome

It amuses me at that Kaya Scodelario’s recent comments on Claire getting sidelined in RE games are getting responses like: “Someone didn’t do their research!”
but like...She actually has? She’s Absolutely right about wanting later RE game adaptations featuring Claire to deviate from the source material because Claire fans like me have noticed how much she gets sidelined for years!
Its sad how RE2 is STILL the only game where she was allowed to be a main important character in the story from beginning to end. Every other appearance....*SPOILERS for multiple RE games and movies*
code veronica: main character until Chris shows up and literally takes over for the rest of the game, only getting a small AF playable sequence near the end thats pretty much a fetch quest followed by a set piece boss.
Degeneration: Main character until Leon shows up and she gets put in a side role for the rest of the movie. Not even allowed to fight side by side with Leon against a BOW boss even though she has done exactly that sort of thing multiple Times by now!
Revelations 2: Main character until Barry, Moira, and pretty much Natalia take over in story importance, yet again sidelining her.
Infinite Darkness: This doesn‘t even try to deceive you like her other appearances, she’s straight up sidelined before the story even begins! Lol
To be clear, this is not me trying to defend this movie or her portrayal of the character, I’m just saying that she‘s not wrong in saying that.
