Roger Lloyd Pack as Rex Regis in Health and Efficiency season 1, episode 3: “Cinderella Rockefeller.”

Poor Rex is in a rough way this episode—he promised to meet Diana for some ~extracurricular activities~ but is unable to come because of his wife Pauline. Hurt, Diana asks him who he plans to take to the hospital gala. He tells her he has to take Pauline for appearances’ sake, but on the night of the party, he shows up alone and tells Diana that he couldn’t bear to see her dancing with another man. Unfortunately, Diana is attending the gala with a mentally disturbed patient, so it really doesn’t turn out well for either of them. Still, though, it’s only episode 3–I’m still holding out hope for Rex and Diana. 🤍
