Rex just always got along with trans men. Would've been weird if he didn't —and he did hear of some who even hated their fellow brothers— but he liked knowing Olympus had quite a few guys like himself. Safety in numbers and all that. Plus, Dario was quite attractive and Rex couldn't claim to be oblivious to that.
