Though the rex begonias aren't necessarily grown for their flowers, look at this huge 'Escargot' 🐌 begonia flower! 🌸 the foliage is so spectacular, it doesn't need flowers. There are plants that I feel the flowers actually take away from the beauty of the foliage. And in cases like the aglaonema, I cut them off so they put all their energy into growing more gorgeous foliage. But this huge flower is gorgeous! Swipe to see the back of the flower, some flower buds, and a new leaf. Notice the hirsute stems, leaves, and sepals.
