The great thing about Ghetsis' speech is that during the whole event you will not spot N unless you're really looking hard at the NPC's. Naturally when everyone leaves N barrels toward you, Cheren tries to talk to him and treat him like another trainer but N just flat out ignores him and starts mumble rapping at you at incredible speeds while Cheren's face slowly contorts into a look of horror as N tips his cap and moonwalks backwards to initiate your pokemon battle. Cheren is further appalled when N suddenly screams "MORE! LET ME HEAR YOUR POKEMON!" and he's about to call the PokéPolice before you beat N who then proceeds to continue mumble rapping on fastforward and leaves doing the Soulja Boy dance routine.

I was so excited by the fact it was winter when I started playing I forgot the seasons changed monthly. We in spring now. Accumula Town in the spring... where the Furrets at?

And so the journey begins anew! It's time to revisit Unova! I will begin a playthrough of Pokémon Black this week! I have predominantly played White over the years, as that was the game available to me at the time- so I look forward to noting the differences between Black and White!

I will tag the playthrough posts with RexPlaysPKMN, and any other subsequent fandom tags that apply to BW and Gen 5.

Knowing the story between BW and BW2 with the flashbacks via IR between two cartridges (will always be grateful for Bio Mum for buying my brother and i games separately and eventually buying me both versions of games lmao) I can't but help feel bad for the Striaton gym leaders, the brothers who wanted to help at Pokemon League but felt they werent strong enough- they got the call, but they chose to remain behind, doubting themselves. Furthermore, seeing them grow and become stronger trainers in post-game BW2 was great development. And of course they retired as Gym Leaders but bros come on, you were great and we love the three of you!

I just beat Striaton Gym on White with Hisui the Oshawott and William the Pansear and I got the melancholy~

I haven't played the DLC for Z-A yet...

But I thought it would be fun if my OC, Rex Jr. and his twin sister, Tuuli, were separated and Tuuli ended up in a parallel version of Lumiose, experiencing the same events and eventually finding each other in Hyperspace Lumiose, teaming up to put an end to whatever big bad is pulling strings in that realm.
