Dead ceramic peeler .
Some time back I broke our ceramic bladed veg peeler , accidentally snapping off one of the pivots that kept the blade holder in place so thought I’d recycle the blade for one of my kits .
In order to remove the tabs on the end of the blade I sunk it into some blu -tack to stop it from flexing and snapping before cutting them off with a dremel diamond cut off wheel.
I then cleaned up the ends with a diamond file and then made up a little sheath from some heat shrink tubing and am now thinking the black handle may or may not make for an improvised catapult / slingshot .
