BABY ASPIRIN IS NOT ACTUALLY FOR BABIES 👶🏾 . Though the name “Baby Aspirin” (Aspirin 81 mg) suggest aspirin can be used for babies, it’s shouldn’t be. The name “Baby aspirin” signifies low dose/ lowest dose aspirin, but is not actually for babies. Like “baby car” babies can’t drive cars so it’s not for babies or Lil baby, who is an adult rapper and not actually a baby...or “Baby shark” babies shouldn’t play with sharks tho..you get the point...😉. Here’s why... . Aspirin is approved for children older than 3 years of age, but can be harmful if used for fever and pain in children and even teenagers recovering from chickenpox or flu like symptoms. Aspirin has been liked to Reye’s syndrome in children and teenagers, a rare but serious condition that causes swelling in the liver and brain leading to seizures and confusion and could be life threatening. .
