This will be another joint appreciation post for Gveanel and Reykat, both of whom I respect deeply for their incredible rendering skills and renaissance-like attention to detail. There's also a curveball in the end with a Beth Cavener cameo in the end :}
Both of them has mastered a rendering technique for fur which is both silky and filigree-like. On some of Gveanel's work later hair and fur is almost gravity-defying, as if submerged in water.
Even the more sketchy from Reykat stuff is fantastic. It really helps you narrow down the focal points of each piece. Plus, I enjoy seeing the process exposed like this.
Gveanel's art is similar in this ethereal feeling, while also taking a very classical approach to render and ways of presenting the subject.

I once again really appreciate sketches, fantatic insight into the process and how a piece "should" look like at every step.
And these might look familiar to Beth Cavener's fans, I believe Gveanel is open about their inspiration and I think I discovered Beth through them!
