The tenth annual Figure Skating Championships sketches ⛸ This time, sketched right at the arena as the Championships were in Prague this year. The whole thing was rather too much of a party for me. Still, the sportsmen were wonderful. Previous years can be found here -

Normally, I wouldn't share photos of myself, but I was sewing a bit, so here you go. Old duvet cover transformed into a frilly shirt, haha.

For those who are interested - for the shirt I was pretty much following the instructions here and here. It's very nicely described and because it's basically only made out of rectangles the pattern is very simple to make and in general it's not difficult to sew at all. I had to make it quite a bit smaller though and the sleeves are still rather too long for me, which may look stylish on photos but it's a bit too much. :'^)

Never realised how many things in common Agatha Christie’s and P. G. Wodehouse’s books have. But I love finding the similarities, especially when they refer to each other books or quote the same poems.

Enjoyed the interest arised from the mysterious brown cheese in the first photo. For those who are still wondering it's Norwegian Brunost cheese. Sweet milky-caramelish cheese, especially good with jam and bread or waffles. I also like it with oat porridge although that was eyed somewhat suspiciously by my Norwegian flatmates.

To be precise in the photo it was Fløtemysost which is a common type with very mild taste (my favourite). But it's possible to find lots of different kinds. Some are very dark brown with kinda burned flavor, some very pale. Then there are special versions - sweetened Christmas version with spices, Licorice version etc. (⁠ノ⁠^⁠_⁠^⁠)⁠ノ

Listening to the eleventh Poirot book now and ah, it’s delightful. Hastings being such a poor lambkin and Poirot being so sweet with his luxuriant moustaches.

Do you happen to have any recommendations for how to start reading the Jeeves books? Or any audiobook recs? Thanks!

How do you mean?

Personally I started with the Jeeves and Wooster series and then proceeded to read all the books in order. The slang takes some getting used to for non-english speakers but it's fun even if you don't get all the jokes right away.

As for audiobooks I looove the ones read by Jonathan Cecil! (can be found on YouTube)

Thank you! nothing special, really, then I also use watercolours - random mix, White nights, Van Gogh, Kuretake, Winsor & Newton
