@reyofforce asked: "DaDa can we practice sparring?"
Looking up from cleaning his blaster, Din considered the question instead of outright saying no. The planet they were on was experiencing severe storms and they'd been stuck inside for several days, which he knew had to be boring for a kid. Learning patience was important if you truly wanted to be a predator, but still. She was a kid.
And it wasn't like your marks would wait for good weather, so despite his reservations and worries about Rey catching a cold, she did need to learn how to fight under less than ideal circumstances. "Sure, kid." He agreed, beginning to pick things up. "Go get ready."
@reyofforce asked: “how about we don’t do that.”
Vader's helmet head tilted to one side, red-eyed visor staring coldly. He had his arms crossed over the control panel over his chest. "You are brave," he noted. "And foolish. Do you really think you can defy me?" He would never admit it to anyone, but he was grudgingly impressed with her defiance. Almost anyone else he'd ever met since being stuck in his life support suit simply oozed fear and hardly ever went against him, even if would end in their death regardless.

The Doctor walked out of his TARDIS and onto the space ship. He was in a new part of space that he hadn’t been to often, in a very far away galaxy and he was fairly unfamilar with their ships, so he wanted to explore. He found a vessel with one passenger and figured it would be worth exploring. He could probably explore the ship without it ever being known he was there. He wouldn’t interfere, just observe, or so he thought. However, almost as soon as he walked out, he turned a corner and a woman was there, staring at him, and pointing a gun or some kind of blaster at him. “Why hello there,” the Doctor grinned as he raised his hands in surrender.
He looked closely at the woman in front of him. She had two weapons, the blaster she was pointing at him along with another one on her belt that the Doctor recognized as a lightsaber. It was a weapon that one could only find in this specific galaxy and was part of the reason he came to explore here. “Wait, are you a jedi?” the Doctor asked her, “I came to this galaxy to learn more about the Jedi.”

... It's going to hurt if her parents ever show up to take her. Damn it.
@reyofforce: (From lil' Rey) She looked at the man curiously. "I like your armor but if you're Mandalorian, why aren't you wearing a helmet?"
A soft chuckle as he drops down to kneel at the girl’s level. “Well, I’m not Mandalorian. But, from what I’ve heard, there’s different sorts of Mandos. Some take off their helmets and some of them don’t.”
@reyofforce asked: " don't think i won't carry you if i have to! "
"The day I let you levitate me through town is the day I'm dead." Din informed her flatly, not at all impressed with Rey's threat. It was one thing to have her float him around during her training or meditation, but another for her to decide that she would cart him around like a load of scrap metal because he was refusing to do something she wanted. Din knew that he was accused of spoiling his foundlings, but he did understand how to say no to them.
Besides, he hated attending official meetings and if that Bothan representative was there again, Din couldn't promise that he wouldn't deck him.
"You can take care of attending without me, it's your turn to suffer through listening to them." And maybe Leia would give her more lessons on being politically terrifying while she was there, although Din wouldn't be on anyone that went up against his daughter no matter what their chosen battlefield was. "Try not to start a war while you're gone."
@reyofforce asked: “You didn’t have to go ahead and make food.”
"It's your favorite," Din countered, as if that was all it took to prove that he undeniably and unequivocally did need to make food. Even though his helmet was on, the smile was evident in Din's voice, a happiness born out of having his second child back home from her hunt. Din believed in Rey and knew that she could handle herself, but like any parent, he could grow emotional over 'firsts' no matter how capable and grown the child in question was.
There were people who would have said he should be doing other things, sitting on the throne and waiting for an official report if he absolutely needed to know, but the majority of those around understood that Rey was his foundling and that he was her father. Her first hunt only happened once.
"Get in here and tell me how it went."
