the perfect tale.
Being outside still feels weird after so many days locked in his apartment, but the only thing encouraging him to dress up and go downstairs to meet with Xiwang and Butterscotch. There are many ways to convince Hanbyeol to leave the safety of his home, but nobody does it as well and his friend Xiwang does --- being able to meet him and his adorable cat, it is more than enough to make Hanbyeol put on his shoes and go on little adventures together.
He puts on some jeans and a simple shirt and a jacket, a pair of comfortable shoes and a baseball cap, and he can’t forget the bracelet that Xiwang gifted him once their friendship started to become something more solid. Once the trust between them was built completely. Hanbyeol doesn’t have the habit of taking the bracelet off, but he avoids showering with it to make sure it won’t be damaged by water.
After he leaves the building where his apartment is located, he not-so-calmly walks towards the park where they always meet; he has his hands shoved in the pockets of his jacket and the cap on his head almost hides his face --- he actually looks very suspicious, instead of discreet.
But when he sees Xiwang, he can’t help the bright smile that spreads on his lips, his eyes almost disappear into small crescents when he opens his arms for his friend.
“Hey,” he says and gives Xiwang a hug. “It’s been a while, huh?”
