Wellspring Valley: A Futuristic Farming Sim AU OOC Info

Hey y'all! This is Wellspring Valley. A concept inspired by my thoughts on a SciFi Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons AU Role Play Group I've had for a while now. I decided, "hell may as well make this RP Group it a thing... kinda."

The long and short of it is, I'm a huge SciFi fan and a huge Farming Sim fan. Games like Fields of Mistria, HM/SoS, SDV, RF, etc have such a special place in my heart. I love the characters, game play, setting, all of it. Heck HM: Another Wonderful Life literally sent me down my current day career path.

But farming sims don't often mix with the SciFi genre. Which... I wish they mixed more. When they do I get very excited. So games like One Lonely Outpost and Harvestella are an ABSOLUTE JOY to me setting wise.

I love thinking about the characters in Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons that I adore, in space! And seeing so many others expand on them in their own settings is insanely inspiring as well! I also love thinking about how magic's viewed in such a high tech AU! There's a LOT to explore.

I don't expect this to be a very popular AU, so I'm mostly using this Tumblr blog to just get my thoughts out on my personal Farming Sim AU RP World. So I'm treating it a bit like a world building creative outlet.

Who knows, if there's demand, maybe one day the Discord will be released into the wild.

But honestly, I'm just here to SCREAM INTO THE VOID at this point.

And yes... I do have strong opinions on my favorite character (Licorice/Reina Story of Seasons/Tale of Two Towns) in this world. And in more or less any other AU I can imagine. We love our Botanical Queen!

After four long months of hiatus, we are proud to announce that Wellspring Skies is back and operating!

And with our reopening we bring new rules, new operations, and a new face.

We are no longer requiring our members to create tumblrs for their individual characters! With the shift to discord, we no longer need our members to make individual blogs for each character you play.

You do not need to submit a reserve for OCs! If you want to roleplay an original character of yours, just submit the application to us. Either submit it through tumblr, or link us a google doc of your application through our twitter dms, so that we can have a look at it!

We are not just an rp group. You do not have to specifically roleplay to join the community, we also are just a fandom group for Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, My Time at Portia, and Stardew Valley!

Long ago, a mysterious island was found by the valiant Naval Captain Liska. It was unlike anything she had seen before in her life. Clear beaches and vibrant forests; soil richer than any she had seen in her life. It was a veritable paradise.

But the most remarkable part... was the endlessly expansive abyss that was at the heart of the island. Filled with impossible treasures and mystery.

The island grew as people sought their new lives on the land. Thriving off the gifts of the land and exploring the ever impossible Abyss that calls to them all. And even to this day, there is ever more to learn about the island.

Welcome to Lis Isle.

This is a roleplay group that encompasses several farming simulator series and games such as Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, and Return to PoPoLoCrois. Come join us in the festivities!

Participate in earning money through minigames, attend festivals and events, help settle the land of Lis Isle, or, if you dare, venture into the great unknown of the Abyss.

Whether you obtain your fortune from a simple life above ground or delve into the crater of secrets in the center of town- the adventure is yours to navigate.

Reservations: We will hold character reservations for 1 week. You can reserve up to three characters.

Activity: We require only a minimum of two posts every week for each character you have. We allow hiatuses and semi-hiatuses upon request.

Platforms: We utilize both Tumblr and Discord- discord posts count as 1 post each, so you can rp solely on Discord if you prefer it!
