Like who invited who and exactly how given context rf5 taking place at least 60(ish)~ years from rf4 given some context clues from the story and from their own dialog, also given elves and dwarves having longer lifespans than humans meaning the rf4 cast is probably old or even dead (Margaret's marriage event was about dealing with that subject that even if I remember correctly) and that's why the two are out traveling like they are and just so happened to arrive in Rigbarth at the same time which is very bittersweet.

I'd like to think they're catching up on old times. They never really interacted all that much in rf4 but I'd like to think they'd both have a deep understanding of what the other is going through which again, very bittersweet.

The real reason you can’t romance Margaret or Doug in RF5 is because they’re already married to Forte and Dylas, but they’re too old to travel now (being humans) so Margaret and Doug like to bring back souvenirs and lots of stories to tell them. 🥺🥺🥺
