During the writing of this record, Brendan was going thru a very serious depression. On “Just Another Face” he sings “I’m a waste of time and space Meandering unwanted days I don’t know how I got here (…)”
And what I love about this song and it actually brought tears to my eyes is the chorus, written in quotes on the lyric book as a sign that is something being said by someone else to him, by people that care:
“If it's all the same its time to confront this face to face I’ll be with you the whole way It’ll take time, that’s fact I’m not just another face, I’m not just another name Even if you can’t see it now We’re proud of; what is to come, and you”
