Royal Fandom Roleplay Blogversary Party and what the fuck does that mean.

Hello! So, as y’all know it and to give a bit of a context, for my blogversary, I’m bringing the vintage experience of the Royal Fandom Roleplay for a One-Day Event, for us to get together and remember something that gave us a reason to be united (although it was too a reason that broke some of us apart ngl) and it was so much fun for loads of us.

For the people that don’t know what the fuck I’m talking about, it goes something like this: a few years ago, i think in 2013, someone (don’t ask me who cause I don’t have a clue) thought it would be fun to create a royal house in the fandom and for us to make imaginary royal events and attend and create sets. It went for i believe two years, there were many houses (my House was first Wafflonia and then I ended up being Head of the House of Schwarzbach, but there were the House of Slaybridge, the House of Sussexy, the House of Arendell and so on...) and we had Christenings, Weddings, Funerals, Tours, engagements of all sorts and all those sets were judged by the Royal Fandom Fashion Police (which was created by me and was supported by other members of the fandom). We ended it because some people lost interest and honestly some of us didn’t have the time to be comitted to it fully (although some of us are still doing sets cause it’s fun)

So, if you are new to this, it’s very easy to join the party. You either can make a set on Photoshop or you can create a Polyvore account. Polyvore is a site for fashion lovers that allows you to create outfits of all ranges and tastes, and it has a editor that looks something like this

There is a search bar there so you can type things like “short dress”, “flower top”, “leather bag” and so on and it will automatically give you options of materials and colours. For us that have been on the roleplay for ages, there are different albums with royal items, such as Tiaras and Orders and Sashes. So,you end up building a set there and it should end up like this

Then, when you feel like your set is all done and perfect, you click on the button that says Publish and this will appear

So you name your set, put it in the category, description, and hit the Publish button again and voilá

Your set is live! You can link it to your Tumblr account and post it directly or crop the photo and post it yourself in the normal way and it will look on your blog like this (bear in mind this other set is old but it’s from my Roleplay Account)

You tag it with the special tag for the event plus the official Roleplay tag #royalfrp (don’t tag it with royal fandom cause we don’t want to clog the tag) and post it and there you go! You’re participating on the event!

Now, I was a little bit reluctant to bring back the RFFP from the dead, but I think I will, I will choose a best dressed for this event, with their four runner ups. So bring your A Game, it’s gonna be super fun.

For the people who are already titled (we all have sometimes different names depending on our royals), as the party is set on my fictional country (Saar), the sashes and orders you use are from my country. If neither Juani nor I never gave you orders, then use the highest order of your country. For the ones that are not titled, you can come either as regular people or you can make your fictional royal.

So, as I was travelling on the hell hole that is my blog, I found one piece of fandom that I hold close to my heart and that meant so much to me for a while and that is... THE ROLEPLAY.

It was shit and everything was a mess from start to end but that period of time was so much fun for all of us and it allowed me to evolve creatively tbh (after all, I created the RFFP and it’s still one of my favourite things I’ve ever done in this site). So in that spirit, I ask you, past and present members to get your best gala outfits and bring back, for one night only, the roleplay.

I invite you to make a set for a party, my blogversary party, in a white tie inspiration. If you were part of it and had titles, bring your titles back. Crowns, tiaras, jewels, orders, gowns... you name it. And if you’re new and weren’t part of it, create a Polyvore and join the fun. 

The date will be on Saturday, at noon, Mexico City time (so I can be more timezone friendly to my faves living on the other side of the world). Bring you best A-Game and I thank you if you participate!
