I haven’t forgotten CambridgeVault but it hasn’t been updated since the summer and I had enough to say about the other two so... I stalk mrmrswales every day. I’ve had post notifications on for Rosie since I knew what post notifications were. Rosie has no qualms about giving her opinion but her opinions are balanced, have evidence behind them, and she can back them up with theory. She might be controversial but she never strays into tinhat territory because she stays in her lane (unless someone pulls her out of it). I appreciate the amount of love she has for William because, without her, no one in this fandom would know what William was doing, let’s be honest. Rosie is SO SO knowledgeable, about the Cambridges and about royals, and I adore reading her blog.

I’ve just stumbled across this blog’s shoplook profile and this is me distracted for the rest of the day. I love it. Anyway, royal-roaster creates brilliant comparative edits, from edits when royals wear the same dress as each other, to edits when different royals have a similar fashion sense. This is another fashion-heavy blog but it is clear that, alongside having a good royal knowledge, this blogger has a brilliant eye for fashion.

I wish I had the guts to write a book about the modern royals but I don’t - luckily, Sarah did! @princesswheresyourcrown

Sarah follows almost EVERY female royal. I’m way too fussy to do that. She makes colleges and has incredible knowledge about past events, and she does these brilliant end of year round ups of every engagement a royal has done or every tiara a royal has worn. There must be an incredible wealth of knowledge in Sarah’s head because she has been a public royal watcher for 13 years and 13 years ago, I was still in primary school. Also, did I mention she wrote a book?

I’ve spent a LONG LONG time debating making Ash’s post because I just know the drama it will bring but I fully stand by my decision - @middletonandmarkle

Ash has been a member of this fandom for a long time and when Harry and Meghan announced their engagement, I celebrated with her. Last year, when Meghan had Archie, she made comments about her suspicions over the pregnancy - she thought maybe Meghan had used a surrogate. When this exploded the first time, I reached out to Ash. I never thought Meghan had used a surrogate but I could see how easily someone, especially one who is tired and stressed, could become caught up in the toxicity surrounding Meghan’s pregnancy and begin to believe it. I wanted her to know that I always thought she was a good person, and I would be there for her and her mental health, especially as she wasn’t being cruel or hateful.

More importantly, shortly afterwards, after stepping away from Sussex blogging for a short while, Ash stated she was wrong. She categorically stated she believed Meghan had carried Archie and given birth to him and she apologised to Meghan, Harry, Archie, and Sussex fans for suggesting otherwise. She explained her reasoning and has firmly supported the Sussexes ever since (far more than I do!!). Ash creates edits which are made with love and she chose to stay in a fandom that still punishes her to this day. She adores Kate and she adores Meghan and she would die for George, Charlotte, Louis, and Archie. The Ash of last April/May would not have been in this project but the Ash of 2020 100% deserves to be.

Do I even include Sussex blogs in this anymore? Who knows. Not me but I’m still including the “stays in her fucking lane” Clarissa - @megs-sussex

Clarissa’s blog is one of my favourite Sussex blogs. On the rare occasions she makes edits, they are beautiful and eye-catching, while she reblogs a good range of edits, text posts, and asks. There’s no danger of oversaturation on this blog, as while some blogs have a tendency to reblog every edit of an event (It’s me, I’m some blogs), this blog picks and chooses a selection of high quality moments to share.

I could guess this blog is run by “livvie lou” but knowing my luck, I would be 100% wrong - @willandkate

This blog has a “fun facts” page which is my favourite thing and the second time I’m seen what is essentially a fun trivia page on a royal blog. This is clearly a blog about the Cambridges, not just Kate, and there is just as much of William here as his wife. Moreover, as a Cambridge blog, it’s relatively drama-free. WillAndKate stays in its lane and only seems to comment on other BRF members when asked by anons or other blogs. This is a good blog with wholesome and fun coverage of my favourite couple.

Please explain how all Meghan blogs just look so good - @meg-harry

Every Meghan blog looks phenomenal and this blog is no exception. Obviously, like most Meghan and Harry blogs, this blog hasn’t been really updated since the great Sussex Split because there hasn’t been all that much to update on. Despite that, I imagine this blog will come back with a vengeance when the Sussexes return to work. There is so much fantastic content on this blog, especially around Meghan and Archie.

Alyssa falls into a slightly more unusual fandom crossover - Royals and One Direction (@catherineelizabeth-nialljames)

Alyssa covers the love of my life, Catherine Elizabeth, and an unknown man, Niall. Jk. I know the truth about who Niall from One Direction is. I think he’s the Irish one. Alyssa’s blog doesn’t just cover Catherine though, she also covers Sophie, William, and a wide range of the British Royal Family. This is also her personal blog so she posts a wide range of her own topics.
