So after last night I'm sure none of you want to even think about alcohol! However our competition is coming to an end soon. We have had several entries that sound amazing!
So if you want to be in for the chance to win a 70cl of Pride Absolut Vodka then send us an email with your concoction!
Pride Scotia 2013
It's Monday, which means that Pride Scotia weekend is sadly over! Ten society members travelled to Edinburgh for Pride Scotia 2013, with a great turnout from friends meeting us in the city. We all had a brilliant time, spending the afternoon with a cider in The Three Sisters, and had a couple of ice-breakers and drinking games (never-have-i-ever!) before we took Edinburgh by storm! We visited Cafe Habana, and CC Blooms on the first night - which was great fun! We had an early start, despite the hangovers on the Saturday to get ready and colourful for the Pride March at the Scottish Parliament Buildings. There were so many people there - amazing for everyone to see for everyone's first Pride experience! We listened to a great couple of speeches afterwards, and then continued onto the information stalls and entertainment in Bristo Square, including Vanity Von Glow and Ryan Jagger. We had a great time meeting some friends from Aberdeen University and Abertay University and meeting some new people! We had an eventful night full of laughs, dancing on platforms, and 'vogue-ing' in Planet Bar and CC Blooms to round off the fabulous day that was had by everyone. The ten of us relaxed the next day with a cooked breakfast, looking over the amazing/horrific photos, and sitting in Princes Street Gardens before heading back home to sunny Aberdeen *cough*! Of course there's plenty of photo evidence of the weekend's antics; here's the best couple below:
Aberdeen Represent! Robert Gordon University LGBT+ Students, with friends from Aberdeen University, and Aberdeen's Gay Men's Health (GMH).
Pride March photo! Most of us are behind the GMH white balloons, which is a shame! (No Credit taken for this photo.)
CC Bloom's on Friday Night!
Love is a Human Right! Relaxing on Princes Street Gardens before our bus home.
If you couldn't make it this year, then put it in your diary for next year! Our group would definitely recommend it! :P
