what do you think Sauron meant when he said "not all of it" ?
so of course i made the mistake of rewatching the scene and now i'm going insane about it again 😂😂 so this might end up being long um... oops?
galadriel says they were never alike, that he made himself seem that way to her so they would bond but it was an illusion. and then he goes "not all of it" right? and we know charlie said he didn't do the accent on purpose but it feels intentional, like they kept it on purpose. because after that he turns back into glambrand beloved and the music changes entirely, it's halbrand's theme not sauron's. halbrand is sauron yet not all of him somehow? weaker, more human maybe.
i truly do believe sauron was lost and not in good shape when his path crossed galadriel's. and she made him see all their potential, his potential. made him believe he could get everything he wanted. revenge, power, all of it and more.
galadriel thinks he just used her to get to where he wanted to go. i don't think she believes him when he says he'd make her his queen. but i believe him. it's like sauron sees them as equal, but galadriel doesn't seem to.
and while yes he did bend himself as halbrand somewhat to fit better into galadriel's puzzle pieces. i also think their connection was 100% real. and that's what he tries to show galadriel to sway her.
he's like you know it in your heart, you felt it, still feel it, give in to that feeling and join me... pls 🥺🥺
isn't the best manipulation when it's real anyway???
idk i'm rambling
unpopular opinion
i haven't beeen around long enough to be real salty about anything yet 😂 so i'll just say i think some people take this too seriously? maybe? i'm here to have fun and that's it honestly haha.
also some people are too comfortable reposting edits & gifs and not crediting makers >:( just cause you paste a silly text post screencap above it does not make it your creation 🙄🔪
