Zach x Rhait aka Team Work Hard, Play Hard ("C'mon Zach, we're gonna get you drunk!" "No." "Quit being such a joker, it's time for drinking.")
Zach: Quiet, pretty much appears dour and unfriendly from the outside. Serious about his job, partially as an escape, but also just enjoys it.
Rhait: Talks too much, is constantly in a tavern, and enjoys fighting. Bit of an ass, sarcastic, and lazy. Zach's unmotivated partner.
Zach : Used to be a noble before joining the Order. Because his parents are awful manipulative selfish people, (ahhh gotta love nobility) he wanted to join a circus when he was little, but he never got the chance, so instead he joined the Order. Still maintains some of the mannerisms (constantly well put together off duty, likes to be very clean, enjoys wearing expensive clothes when out of uniform, etc). He's pretty much a blank slate of clean skin other then a few small scars from slipping during a flip, one on the underside of his chin, that sort of thing.
Rhait: Street rat turned underground gladiator turned adventurer. It's hard to find him not in armor of some sort, it's impossible to find him without a weapon in hand, but if armors not an option it's something that allows him to move, and it's probably some stolen pants from someone unlucky and very drunk. Still constantly eats almost everything in sight, and when stressed out will prefer sudden drunken duels or stealing to calm his nerves. He's got quite a few tattoos done courtesy of his former Charr trainer, and a lot of scars, none of them on his face.
Zach: Underneath the serious persona, Zach's actually a shy sweetheart. Still very calm, but not a bore like many would initially believe in a split second assumption sort of way. Surprisingly picky eater, with a taste for sweets, and also a lover of stealth. He enjoys sneaking up on and surprising people, although you only know because of his smug air of happiness.
(due to his training, Zach would be hard pressed to find a good way to sneak up on Rhait, which I imagine would make the challenge more rewarding when he does succeed, which eventually he will.)
Rhait: When motivated, he's unstoppable, essentially. He's got a really good survivors instinct. But most of the time he's so lazy you wouldn't believe it, and he can only be motivated by Zach and money. Surprisingly, a virgin, and pretty body conscious when not in battle mode. Loves drinking and meat, but enjoys sweet and salty foods also, although salty foods more. Likes drunken brawls, mostly because he always wins.
(He's dragging Zach into more then one drunken brawl. I can feel it in my bones.)
Zach: Quietly affectionate in a relationship, (I'm imagining lots of very small things, the way he brushes his fingers against someones, small smiles when he thinks no one else is looking, reflexively placing himself between places he thinks are vulnerable on them) and also a freak in the sheets, (with no further description given, I'm imagining a relatively healthy sex life for them) Zach's pretty much an ideal lover. I imagine Rhait feeling a little in awe of Zach, and also very much unsure of whether or not he matches up as far as what Zach deserves.
Rhait: Big dumb gay baby in a relationship. (For someone normally so smooth, he can barely hold Zach's hand without blushing, has a hard time looking Zach in the eye when he's thinking naughty thoughts, and stammers if Zach is too forward about something) Surprisingly protective and perceptive, he's also a great boyfriend, if hesitant and often confused by his own feelings. Devoted is a good word for him. He's willingly to learn anything, attempt anything, do anything if he thinks Zach needs it.
(Near the end of their first year together, Rhait learns to calm the fuck down when it comes to love. He returns to his normal, lazy self, even when he gets a few kisses from Zach, although Zach will probably always be able to daze him and make him blush. He learns to just accept Zach's love as natural, as something he can enjoy without needing to attempt to deserve.)

First Contact of peen : Infiltration mission goes wrongo, but Rhait seems like he'll be fine, so Zach's like coolio, get out and deliver the papers and I'll handle the Guards. The Guards handle Zach, and kidnap him. This obviously doesn't make Rhait happy, so he decides, instead, to use explosives in the armory of the keep, and steal forth to rescue Zach, who is unhappy Rhait didn't follow his orders, but happy he also came back for him. The guards, of course, realize it was a distraction, meaning the two spies have to mosey away, and while on the run, Zach gives a serious reprimand to Rhait, which ends in a kiss, shutting Rhait down as far as his ability to retort or really do much of anything other then stand in a daze.
