this is only a fraction of the pokemon rhea has. they have 18 in total, but here's these 5's names if anyone was curious

leafeon: spring

espeon: koa

flareon: pyro

zirconeon (the gray one with gemstones): caveren

bristleon (the one curled up): mirage

i'm still learning how to draw pokemon in general but i think i'm developing a style here? i noticed that i tried too hard to mimic the anime's art style before

also tried to make spring look like she's trying to get as much sun on its tail as possible for photosynthesizing :)

🥪🌧️ for Rhea and Nia?

🥪- on a scale of "burns water" to "5 course menu" how well can they cook?

nia was left to fend for herself in terms of food before she was transferred to nancy's custody, so she taught herself how to cook as a preteen. she leans towards 5 course menu but definitely had room for improvement. but ask her for food every now and then. it makes her super happy!

rhea was spoilt as a kid with food. their aunt and uncle (after her parents went "missing") made amazing food and while they tried to learn, they just couldn't get it exactly the same. when they're in reborn before restoration, they just bought food instead of cooking out of fear they'd accidentally poison someone. though there is literally nothing to worry about because they're not extremely bad. just subpar at worst.

now i remember a little while ago, the blissey pokedex entree said that if they sense someone is feeling depressed, they will hunt them down and give them their eggs as a gift. so whenever rhea is in a city like reborn or calcenon, especially in reborn city, a whole bunch of blissey chase her down and offer eggs because who am i kidding, what reborn protagonist isn't depressed at that point. apparently the eggs are super nutritious as well, and rhea's parents made omnletes every weekend, so that's like their specialty.

sort of off topic but hardy and cain ask "..how many days in a row have you been eating omnletes" instead of "how depressed are you right now" because that's like the gauge. the blissey eggs.

🌧️- what is their favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

nia isn't very fond of going outside and playing since it ruins her hair, but resting by the window with her sylveon and mawile, and her more calm dog pokemon with a book or a tv show on is very nice. she used to think downtime was boring, but when she got caught up with team xen, she learned to appreciate it. rainy days are like days off for her, when it allows of course.

rhea loves the rain. preferably when it's like a warm rain since it reminds them of home. it's so calming to listen to and even just standing there serves as a mind clearer. she might disappear herself when it's raining and is found with vaporeon and leafeon, just allowing themselves to get soaked. when asked what they're doing, she just says "nothing," or if comfortable with whoever's talking, "thinking about things." they don't explain what, usually.

sometimes i think about how rhea not only lost their parents in that fire, but also her first pokemon ever. alolan vulpix, since ice is weak to fire. like that messed them UP seeing winter die right in front of her. and they couldn't do anything but repeatedly say "i'm here" or "you're safe now." they were only 8 years old.

ironically, that happened the same year reborn collasped for the first time- i hadn't realized that until i replayed the game the first time and thought it was a cool coincidence

it would be funny as hell if someone assumed rhea was dumb based off of their hair (blonde,) and then they start saying random fun facts as a clap back

rhea: did you know that eevee are the only pokemon that evolve mostly on circumstance instead of experience or age and that espeons only partner with trainers they deem worthy? explains why you don't have one
