Rheagar is horrible for what he did, but can we all acknowledge the absolute fucking legend he is, like he could have just crowned elia, and kept lyanna on the DL, but no he choose the fucking most dramtic thing EVER strolled up in there with his gucci plate armor, rode past his wife and crowned miss lyanna, in front of everyone, the court the peasants the royals, like woow,,, could you imagine being there to witness that shit like I'd be dead quiet but internally i'd be SCALPED, , Westerosi TMZ was LIVING that day

Been wanting to draw the Battle Of The Trident for a looong time, especially the showdown between Rheagar and Robert.

Has compiled all my GOT graphic novels as reference to armour since its rather difficult to draw. Hadnt helped the angle for Rheagar was making it even more so.

Posting in honour of Season 8 finally airing and it all ending soon (for now).

GoT finale

Okay so re GoT finale...I enjoyed many aspects of it but I have felt for a long time it has started to become like fanfiction. What annoys and worries me the most is how the writers act like children playing in their parents clothes. It’s an adaptation true and some things they have managed well but more often then not, big and small, they make weird or bad changes. It’s like they love GRRM’s work and wish they had had the idea and then set about changing it so it can be theirs properly. The way they always talk about ‘how it’s cool to write for these characters’  - dudes - someone has already written for them and even if he hasn’t given you a book this time, he has given you details - follow them. Also the creator himself confirmed they always favoured changes and he had to push on things.

But the worse thing was a certain casting I’ve been waiting for, for a long time  - 

Rheagar!! Why you look like Viserys? I know you weren’t going to live up to the hype and no disrespect to the actor jeez he was not Rheagar. 

Jon and Dany - hmm I like the concept, I like the actors, I like that it happened (yes Im a bad person) but Im not really buying it. I think this has to do with the writing. And that look of Tyrion’s...if you want spoilers of GRRM’s original outline its not impossible but like alot of thing they haven’t really sold it with plotting and foreshadowing for me. 

Dany’s entrance and Cersei and Tyrion’s scene though - wow.

Also loved the Hound and Briene even if the setup felt forced.

The rumor is Jon is a product of love and there were hints at it all through season 5. Lyanna would have never loved Robert but secretly loved Rheagar. If you have any questions or comments id love to chat! Now that it's over, taking about it is all I have lol

Really? What are the hints? 

Cause it would be wierd, you know, there was this war because Rheagar kidnapped Lyanna. If they just ran away because they were in love than the war was for nothing and many people died just because those two wanted to be together? That would be really selfish of them. I kinda don’t wanna believe Lyanna was that selfish. I mean her father and brother died in that war 

And YES I would LOVE to chat with you!! So many thoughts and feels!
