Unfortunately, there's nothing like that. I never intended to write much about the world, though I may draw stuff from it later on. At worst I was creating a campaign setting for a D&D game and at best it was something to dump ideas in.
Any species that inhabit the world that are unusual? Have you created any species for it? What are they like?
None are truly unusual compared to other fantasy settings - typical human, elf, dwarf, orc dominant races. There are smaller groups such as beastial humanoids (gnolls, minotaurs, etc.), fey and awakened constructs that were basically the Warforged from Eberron (D&D setting I initially used for inspiration).
The only races I really created myself for this was the idea of a draconic humanoid race that was initially created to serve the elder dragons millenia ago, but now live in a small region of the world largely keeping to themselves since the old dragons have mostly died off for various reasons. They have an insect-like culture with defined 'subspecies' for various roles - soldiers, workers, and so on. But again, haven't touched this in nearly 10 years so I need to freshen everything up again.
What are the main characters called? Can you say a bit of information on them?
Never though of a group name for the main characters. Basically they're a standard adventuring party - warrior-type, cleric, mage, thief. This is really old stuff and I'm kinda embarrassed because they were very cliched and typical. Stuff's being redone there.
What's the country like where the story mostly takes place?
The main country most of my ideas are based is basically a city-state that has entered an expansionist phase after a new leader took control and reorganized things several decades earlier.
It's based at the mouth of a river on the untamed edges of the main continent, so they've largely been expandind into unclaimed and unorganized territories. Though they have recently waged a brutal war with one of the last elven nations and destroyed their capital city in a horrifying attack using biological weapons. Now the nation is largely pre-occupied with building up its industrial base while securing control of its borders. While this is going on, the nation in question has also been building up its captial, making it an attractive place to do business and move to by allowing all groups and races to move there.
Again, this is all hodge-podged from old info so sorry if it's a bit rambly.
I might as well ask you some questions about your story ideas! What's the world like where they take place. What's it's name?
For the OC place, it's a fantasy world where magic is used and an industrial revolution is beginning in some areas. There are humans, elves, dwarves, orcs and other less-common races. I'll actually develop this more later.
I've called the world Theia in the past.
