Coincidences
@allos-mal
Rheez spent about twenty minutes outside Huerta before he actually managed to enter. This had all been Kella’s idea, but he wasn’t so certain that it was really a good one. What if someone saw him here? What if they guessed what he was doing? There were so many uncertainties, he couldn’t stand it. Still, he made it through the front entrance eventually, and got directions from the front desk on exactly how to get the place he was so conflicted about going. He hadn’t seen Dalen in years, not since the... incident. Rheez really didn’t like thinking about it if he could avoid it. He did his best to continue to see his brother in the best light possible, but it was difficult sometimes, with everything that had happened and the way he had left.
Oh, what was he even doing here? This was the worst idea ever. What if Dalen didn’t even want to see him? It had been so long, and their parting had been less abrupt than it looked. Dalen had started shutting him out weeks before everything went to hell. How was he supposed to know whether that was supposed to be for good? Rheez chewed on his lip anxiously as he made his way slowly through the hospital halls, taking extra time to give himself a little more space to think it over. But what if he was horribly overthinking this? What if he did leave, and it turned out he really should have gone through with it? Both options seemed horrible. There was really no way to win this, was there? Maybe it would be better to just come back another day, when he was feeling braver... But he couldn’t decide here. He had to get a little further in before he could make his final decision.
He got as far as the hallway he’d been told to go to, or at least the end of it. Leaning up against the wall so as to stay out of the way as best as possible, Rheez stared down at his hands, like he was going to find some sort of answer in them. He... he couldn’t do this. He just didn’t have the guts. He wasn’t a coward, he was just... caught up in the possibilities. He’d prepare himself better and come again tomorrow. Yes, that was a good plan. Feeling much better now that that was decided, he pushed himself off the wall and turned to leave.

"E-excuse you!" Rheez stammered, thoroughly mortified as the turian stranger planted a kiss on his cheek. He looked quite similar to Dalen, though a few inches taller, with slightly different markings and horns that curved outwards at their tips. "I-I think you’ve mistaken me for someone else, sir! Or I sincerely hope you have!"
