🐩 for my boi rhetel

Send 🐩+ a muse and I will explain the inspiration I had for them! Such as who or what I based them on, or how I characterize them!

Rhetel is essentially a personification of a golden retriever puppy. I took all the typical traits of one and put it into a troll and wham, there he is. He’s also the only troll that didn’t have a typical cyrillic letter for a symbol and i instead gave him an interrobang. Since it’s a combination of a question mark and an explanation point, Rhetel became a very excitable and easily entertained individual but also easily confused and with attention problems.

His relationship with Ixalia was made from the get-go from the polar clash with his overt niceness, pacifism, and his habit for wearing his heart on his sleeve with her viciousness and dislike of red romance. That relationship still stands today but it’s in the past. Canonically, the two haven’t spoken in a long time.

Why is Valyre and Rhetel problematic?

Ah yes, Valyre $$$$$$ Krylov

money is her reason for doing p much anything she does

she cheats when she gambles like 75% of the time

super frugal about everything

has a very dry sense of humor, but it’s there

she spoils the fuck out of Gamayun and treats him better than she treats most people

is super apathetic about the caste system as a whole- she doesn’t care who she’s working for or who she has to kill or why, as long as they pay well

Aaaaand poor ol’ Rhetel. luckily he tries his best

all his crushes have been on violent women who hate him

he’s incredibly forgetful 

and incredibly clumsy

is sort of a fuck-up in general but is earnest

It's Rhetels wiggling day so here are some things

Normally i'd make a lot of opens about this but I have almost never used Rhetel in rping here yet. Because of this he won't be getting an open or aging up. He's staying 8.8 sweeps for another year lol. haha Rhetel. 

but to compensate im going to say some things about him cause he was one of my first fantrolls and i basically just kinda dropped him on the side and i feel bad

Rhetel is very excitable. He's always happy for people when they accomplish things. He sucks so bad at giving advice though. 

He used to be very flushed for Ixalia, even after all the times she's threatened his life (not in a playful blackrom way). He still has leftover feelings for her.

He does have a scar over his eye from when Ixalia slashed at him. He has the knife she used to do it, too. He uses it as his strife when he doesn't use his psionics.

 He can be really dumb sometimes. And dense. Not the brightest bulb

The easiest quad to get from him is pale

hes built like a string bean but he has some kind of muscle from the days when he was forced to gain weight because his lusus was concerned. 

He LOVES his lusus to death. Him and Bessie are closer than even Marlee and her lusus. They do all kinds of stuff together. 

He is very loyal

he frowns upon sleeping around, even without a quad. He believes in true red and black feelings and deep, meaningful relationships.

He prefers cuddlesex

He's very forgetful. Dont give him directions. He can't remember names well either

Rhetel is kinda uncoordinated so he tends to drop a lot of stuff. more often than not his hive is strewn with things on the floor

he would like to learn robotics someday but believes he isnt smart enough

He tries to do honest good but it usually goes wrong. He digs himself in holes a a lot but only has the best intentions.
