Hi, I'm going by Erin since we already have a Grace in the system, but my name is actually Ryland Grace. I haven't really introduced myself, have I?

Literally formed halfway through Project Hail Mary, much to mine and Jason's annoyance. Everything is super weird. But yeah, hi, it's me.

I started writing a short character study type of thing this morning about Project Hail Mary. If I finish it, I might put it on our AO3, but I don't know if I will or not. It depends whether I get the writing bug again, I guess.

#rhgtt.erin #as I am learning #siiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh #I don't think anyone would really care about the specifics #but I'm going to try and write something here in the tags anyways for my own sake #I was alone in a spaceship thousands upon thousands of miles away from Earth for years #and then Rocky showed up #which helped but I couldn't touch him just at all #And now suddenly I'm here and there are so many people and creatures and just-#I'm on Earth again. In a body that isn't really mine.#When I am controlling the body I can sort of ignore how weird it is when other people touch me #but in headspace it's just SO. MUCH.#And everyone really wants to help but their usual way of comforting each other is touch #which makes it worse and it's overwhelming #and I cry or I come close to it SO often because it's so much #and it all really sucks because honestly? I do want a hug.#I do actually want to let this community I'm sharing a brain with comfort me and huddle together with me #and just be close with them like they are with each other. And I can't. Because I don't know how to handle it anymore.#so yeah. Don't go to space on your own 🤷‍♂️#I mean- I didn't and I still ended up like this so- I don't know
