✗ -- A Physical Scar

           Neville most memorable scar was given to him by the a most memorable woman; Dolores Jane Umbridge. Thanks to her ' I must not break rules ' will forever be scrawled in messy script on his right hand.

           He's unable to ignore it, for it's always before his eyes. He'll often have Hannah cover it up for public events, but it's too much of a hassle to do everyday even though he'd like to.

           He's never viewed rule-following the same. He's always made a point to loosely adhere to them as a form of personal vendetta against Umbridge's 'advice'. One could say, by extension, the scrawl on his hand lead to the reformation of Dumbledore's Army and Neville's general success.
