If you wanted to know. This is where I go to college, it’s not always burning to the ground. Only when a New England Sports team wins 😅
Hi :) I came across your tumblr and I see that you attend URI's pharmacy program. I am going into my senior year of high school and I am so interested in going to pharmacy school. I visited URI and fell in love with it! If you dont mind me asking, what were your high school stats such as sat, act, and gpa? I want to compare yours to mine so I can get a better idea of my chances of getting in. Btw, my unweighted gpa is a 93.6 and weighted is 96.89, sat 1960, and act composite 31. Thank you! :)
Ahh yey so excited for you! Cannot say enough good things about URI/URI pharmacy, everyone in the program loves it and we’re all literally dying to go back in the fall. In high school I had something like a 3.6-7 GPA, 2180 SAT, and I didn’t take the ACTs but I took a bunch of AP credits and had a lot of science backgrounds like I had a research internship and volunteered in a hospital for years. BUT I think you look fine so far, I’ve seen people with much lower GPAs get in, higher GPAs get in, lower SATs, higher SATs, etc. The program realizes that stats are just numbers, so what is really important is showing your interest in science (taking a lot of science credits, science extracurriculars, leadership, etc you’ve heard this all before), and having a good application essay. Let me know if you have any more questions, and best of luck! :)
Pink Out.
Great game. The guys did so well. I'm so proud of them. Played like the team I know they are. Not only that but we won for the third year straight against Dayton. I'm really hopping to repeat that type of energy for the game on Saturday. I'm not sure how much money we raised for Gloria Gemma, but I'll let you know.
But on the down side, I'm back to being a freshman with no standing in the Mob. I worked for that standing. Like I've fucking done nothing all year. Like I haven't devoted hours of my time to my team. While the fucking executive board has done JACK SHIT. And some bitch had the nerve to yell at me and tell me to move last night? I wasn't even in my regular fucking place. I wasn't complaining about how I was unhappy about my seat. I did when I got home, but not during the game. And! I was at the fucking game AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLY. My jacket was on my seat from 5:30 on. Don't fucking tell me that's not my seat when that is what my ticket says. Fuck off. You don't even go to all of the games. And worst of all of it, you had the nerve to BASH my boys. My team. Our team. You're there to support the Rams. Not to bring them down when the other team gets ahead. Support your team, cheer them on. Don't fucking yell at them. That's the coach's job. And until you're paid to coach them, I suggest you SHUT THE FUCK UP. Fucking bitch. I really hope you aren't near me at the game on Saturday. Honestly, I'd rather be in the I-only-go-to-some-of-the-games section.
Rant over.
