--Oh, hey. W.I.T.C.H is coming back!
That was one of the very few shows I awaited each new episode for in my childhood. Perhaps not as obsessively counting down as I was for Teen Titans (But, really, nothing even gets close my childhood attention to Teen Titans.)
We even read the (...manga, I think it was? I can’t remember if it was Eastern or Western style, and I think they were technically my little sister’s, but they were definitely Comics) on a semi-regular basis. (I mean, my dad managed a comic shop. So we had the access. But that was one of the ones I read eagerly. Not just... to read?)
It’s funny, because I’d been thinking about that show, just glimpses of memory in random moments. (Mostly the themesong. “There is a place, where darkness reigns. We’ve got the, power to fight back... Water, Fire, Earth, and Air! Guardians, uniiiiite!” I still remember the whole thing. And I chanted “Will Irma Teranee Cornelia Hay-Lin” to myself to memorize everyone’s names... It had a nice rhythm and it was soothing, almost like a.. meaningless mantra? A stim of some sort? It was just Fun to Chant to Myself.)
All of this memory of that old show, coming back to me. And then, I read a book, and there’s that preview.
(I don’t remember it being a Disney property... but then again, I hardly watched TV. So that’s not altogether surprising.)
And, really, I didn’t know to appreciate it in my childhood. But there were Multiple Body Types and it had Racial Diversity in the cast. Not to mention, fun dialogue and good stories. I just... remember it very fondly?
I just wonder if the books will be online, since I’m locked in this perpetual financial crisis.. =.=; But I’d really like to read it.

I’m rewatching Constantine (the live-action one); there’s only Twelve More Days til Titans, after all, so I figured I might as well get used to the App.
And I’ve been meaning to re-watch it, since... I finished it the first time it came out.
But now I can do that LEGALLY! Ha!
(That, and it’s the PERFECT time of year for some magical shenanigans~)
...Stranger Things has a very pretty soundtrack.....
