Which OC was the easiest for you to come up with? Which was the hardest? -Rhuben

Hiya!!!!! I miss you guys *hugs* How are you both doing? :)

Hardest: It would probably be my latest OC, Avis. There were so many overdone tropes that I had to think up of ideas that haven’t been done before. However, this was 7 years ago and I am crossing my fingers that mine is still an original idea. Her character had to undergo several changes before I finalized her backstory. It took me a couple years on and off but I think she’s good to go. Just need to dedicate the time to actually write it out.

Easiest: Violet Hargreeves, my Umbrella Academy OC. It took me the first episode to come up with her and she was relatively straight forward. The entire plot line of her story took me a day to finalize, but since Season 2 is coming up at the end of this month, I may have to make adjustments to accomodate the season. Her personality was inspired by some excoworkers and that made it easy for me to nail her character down.

This was a really good question! I had to really filter through my current line up to decide who would fit what! :) Thank you again!

You know what's interesting? I would've thought from what we've seen of your characters that Riley would've been the one with an eating disorder and Rhuben would've been the one with bipolar disorder.

We can certainly see why you’d say that. Especially with Riley’s want for control over her life. There are numerous aspects of all of our characters we can see, not only how we changed them over the years, but being interchangeable in some ways.

These ideas for the two girls were brought up before we had gotten into a point of developing our characters where we really got into their heads. If that makes sense. However, as we’ve continued our writing, we feel we have further shown, and will continue to show, reasons as to why these issues are specific to Riley and Rhuben.
