i feel like this didn't turn out the greatest but i loved the mental image of Rhys painting Modo's nails for him so in the spirit of "just do it badly" i had to bring it to life ;w;

When you're ready to share 🎤first date with the new The Character, how does it go? 👀

it went great! these two had already known each other for a little bit before their first official date so Rhys got to bypass a good portion of the typical first-date-jitters, and they both had a really good time! (obviously Modo absolutely smoked Rhys at bowling)

☀️ How well does your OC take care of themself? Do they tend to put others before their own wellbeing and if so how often? What is their favourite way to pamper themself?

Rhys is fairly good at keeping up on their self-care. They're very health-conscious: getting lots of exercise, always drinking smoothies, etc. - but not as good at mental health upkeep. They kinda force themself into it by trying to use Heat Lamp Time as meditation time, ie trying to keep their thoughts clear and not use that time to overthink and worry about everything, but they're not always successful. When they need a real mental break and they can afford the time to do so, they go kayaking.

🐍 Is your OC a good liar? How easy is it for them to tell lies? What is the biggest lie they’ve ever told and did they ever get found out? On the other hand, what is the biggest lie someone has told your OC and did they believe them?

No aslfkjasdf they're a TERRIBLE liar - no poker face whatsoever. They'll avoid eye contact, fidget, etc. so much that even a child could tell they were lying. So they avoid lying almost to a fault because they figure there's no point if they're just going to get caught. That doesn't mean they'll just blurt out anything that comes to mind unfiltered, though! they'll think things through very carefully to make sure they're not saying anything overly egregious rather than, say, outright tell someone their outfit looks bad or something like that.

As for a lie they've been told.....hmmm, they had a horrible boss at a previous tattoo parlor who told them they'd never be shit, and while they struggled for a long time with that, eventually they came to grips with it and decided their worth was what they made it.

🌊 What does your OC do on their days off from working, school or whatever else it is they may do? Do they enjoy relaxing, shopping, hanging out with friends? What is a normal day like for them?

Like most of us plebs, Rhys spends the majority of their days off trying to catch up on chores and other responsibilities they don't have time for during the rest of the week. It was only recently they really began putting in the effort to have a social life, so now they ensure they get to spend some time each weekend with their bf and his squad. The gang rotates on who gets to choose the activity, and Rhys usually chooses something active and outdoors like paintball or hiking.

🔮What does your OC think is their best trait. What is actually their best trait? What about their flaws? Are they one to admit these flaws or do they like to pretend they’re perfect?

if pressed to choose, Rhys would probably try to dodge the question by saying their best trait is their humility. they don't like lauding themself, even a little. if asked about flaws, though, they'd have a laundry list. first on that list would probably be their high anxiety. if others are asked, they would probably say that Rhy's best trait is that they're brave enough to be themself without alteration, despite their anxiety making this difficult. that is to say, they don't try to present in a way other than who they are, but they do so with great trepidation that they won't be accepted, and it hurts them deeply when they aren't, so it takes courage to continue on this way regardless.
