Rhys (Tales from the Borderlands) right forearm. This piece is made out of card from university booklets and thin craft foam from a kids play store. Painted with acrylic, water paint and finished with yacht varnish. The lights are led strips with aluminium foil behind. This project proves that you don’t need to spend a great deal of money to get the finish you want. If it does the job use it! There is no shame in making out of common household materials! This photo of Rhys gauntlet was after it had been worn for 8 hours.
