Got back from the MCM London ComicCon to which I cosplayed as White Diamond from Steven Universe. It was very busy but also very fun as always :), got spotted quite a few times :3 My sibling @voidyssey also went as Ramb from Deltarune, was very well received by the Deltarune meetup there :)

Trying to make this one count as it's my last MCM! Don't get me wrong, I'm not quitting in general, I'd still love to do DoKomi if they'll have me again (I really liked it) and that doesn't affect any of my other work! Some thoughts under a read-more on why I'm making this my last one if you're interested:

• You may remember me talking about mystery health issues affecting my ability to draw and work… Well, I finally have a diagnosis - it's hypermobility (my joints are too soft) and… the dreaded fibromyalgia 😭 I've been learning to manage it, and conventions tend to really take me out, they're very physically demanding and mentally taxing so I want to minimize events in general and focus more on online. (Though that all depends on how life goes, as multiple situations around the world - US tariffs, Canada Post strike, etc. - are constantly tripping me up. So I might have to do events out of necessity but I'd rather take a break if I'm able!)

• I feel like MCM visitors are getting a little bored of me - and that's completely fair!! I can't make new things as often as other people (due to many reasons) and I totally appreciate that I can't keep selling mostly the same stuff to the same people. I'd consider returning after a few years maybe, when I have more to offer, but we'll see how life goes!

• I ain't getting any younger, chief 🙃 I want to focus more on online, wholesale and licencing to make it more sustainable for future me. My body already feels like it's 10 years older than it actually is 😭👍 Every convention throws my entire schedule off and puts my inventory into chaos (I'm sooo good at this.. 💀) and cleaning up after that has just become a Sisyphean task, taking time and focus away from something I'd like to move on to.

And that's pretty much it! Nothing major, just moving on as I've been doing MCMs for probably around 5-6 years now :') so yes!! Come say hi!! And bye!! :D
