There was nothing wrong with hunting. He was a fox, after all, and hunting just came naturally to him. But birds could be fast and deceptively intelligent, given the small brains they housed in their heads. The fox - and at this point he appeared to be nothing more than a fox, for he knew what humans around here could be like if they learnt he was something more - trotted around, listening out for the sweet whistles of a meal. And then a smell wafted towards him, something that smelled better than birds. He lifted his head towards the smell, following his nose towards the manor. Upon a windowsill he perched, watching the person inside as they made what appeared to be a delicious meal.
