💔: Someone who broke my muse’s heart

Well, the only people who’ve gotten close enough to break Maxwell’s heart were his parents.Their complete rejection and abandonment left a deep scar on him.

💕 : Someone my loves

Platonically: He loves Josephine dearly. She was always kind and supportive of him from the very beginning of the Inquisition. She also taught him several life skills that he was lacking and helped him deal with his parents trying to manipulate him as the Inquisitor. He considers her family and one of his closest friends.

Romanitcally: In game he loves Dorian. Out of the game depending on the AU, he loves @mlp-micoo‘s Rhys Lavellan, @writingfromdaughterofathena‘s Hadiden Lavellan, or @hobbithase‘s Adahl Lavellan and Ascan Adaar. These men are not only his friends, confidants, but also the men he has given his heart to.

👻: Someone my muse considers a best friend

Varric is one of Maxwell’s best friends and was his friend from nearly the moment they met. They were nearly as close as Varric was with my Garrett Hawke. After the Inquisition ends they hang out together for a while in Kirkwall.

👪 : Someone in my muse’s family

By Blood: Bann Vincent Trevelyan and Marcus Trevelyan( who is also an Inquisitor of mine) are Maxwell’s older brothers. He reunites with them after Corypheus is defeated.

By Bond: Maxwell considers most of the Inner Circle his family, but I’d have to say Sera and Cole. Sera is like a sister to Maxwell and Cole a younger brother.

👌 : Someone my muse has met once, but will never forget

Divine Justinia, they only met once that fateful day at the Conclave but her death made an impact on him for a far different reason than everyone else. He remembers her reaching out to him in the Fade and how she died making sure he got through the portal first.

👰: Someone my muse would consider marrying

Whoever Maxwell’s lover is (Dorian, Rhys, Ascan, Adahl, or Hadiden), he plans on marrying them. He doesn’t feel a need exactly, but since the option is now finally open for mages to get married, he really wants to. Plus he gets a kick out of the idea of rubbing his love and happiness into bigoted andrastians’ faces. He’s petty like that. >:3c

omg yes rhys would love that so much. that stuffed fennec would become his favorite thing. and he’d definitely enjoy the chocolate and cuddles after, or more, like you said, if they’ve reached that point ;D. overall though rhys would love it so much!!

Hurray! I was hoping that Rhys would like that date! Maxwell might not have much experience with relationships, but he makes up for it by being able to understand what makes his partner happy! :D

how would max want to spend valentine's day with rhys? any specific date ideas in mind? would he get rhys any presents? :D

Maxwell would dedicate the day to spending time with Rhys and doing fun things together. For lunch, they would have a nice picnic with food Maxwell prepared himself, and he would offer Rhys a small gift of flowers that Maxwell had been growing for him in his garden.

Later that evening, Maxwell will have a special dinner of Rhys’ favorite foods prepared for Rhys that he also cooked himself. For dessert, they would have a delicious chocolate cake, and Maxwell would offer Rhys his main gift, which would be a small knitted fennec fox that he asked Krem to teach him how to make. It’ll probably look a little wonky since Maxwell is a beginner, but it would still look very cute. Afterward, there would be lots of cuddles, or more if they have reached that point in their relationship.

So do you think Rhys will like his Valentine’s Day? :3

well now I have to know how max would propose! :D

Well, Maxwell would invite Rhys out to have a nice picnic in some pretty wooded area and bring their hamster Riri with them. While they are eating Maxwell will pull out a special Ironbark ring made by a Dalish Clan that Maxwell is friends with and have Riri carry it to Rhys. Maxwell trained Riri specifically to fetch for this occasion (You can train hamsters, I looked it up! :D)! When Rhys sees the ring, Maxwell will ask Rhys to marry him and prays Rhys says yes!

This was just a silly little proposal I thought of at the moment. Maybe it would go differently. :3

Oh my god yes! Rhys and Maxwell would get along great! As a couple or just as friends! Maxwell would also be sure to treasure any little gift he got from Rhys!
