Just thinking of you and your partner and hoping things are going better (in at least one of any number of ways) during its post-op recovery

mal's comin along well all things considered. still a bit hoarse & sleepy but definitely startin to verbalize more. hospital's takin good care of it. it actually had just gone off for a scan when i stepped outside for this smoko. i was able to get laundry done & like 3 cheap hot meals thanks to a couple folks that donated (+ a loyalty coupon, in one instance), so that was real nice. figurin out how to make food happen today still but that's mostly logistics- it's colder temp rn than my threadbare hoodie can really ward off (which i'm noticin even as i type), so i gotta work around inadequate coat situation.

completely random, but have you listened to much Blind Melon? i had one of their albums on earlier and suddenly thought "wait a second, i think Ri would love this actually". if you haven't heard a ton (aside from No Rain, which everybody has heard and is NOT indicative of the rest of their music), definitely start with their first album

Hey!😊 just saw that you managed to read 4 books in January, that's so impressive! I'm currently reading They Both Die in the End by Adam Silvera and am really loving it so far. It isn't for everyone so not sure if it's your cup of tea or not, but if it is I really recommend it 😊💛

Oh I went to the south bay CA pride today!! is that what you missed I hadnt seen the news announce any rescheduling??

oh no, it was a pride event here in southwest va. my friend told me about it a week ago, and when i looked it up there was a bunch of conflicting reports; some saying it was today, others saying it was moved to april. all the sites saying it was moved to april were like the top official ones in my area, so it was just confusing 

but i hope you enjoyed your pride!! hopefully i’ll get to attend one soon lol
