"I never want us to forget why we fell in love in the first place."

This is a letter that Ria writes to Maria the day before their wedding. Hope you like it (P.S Im sorry this was very late)

My dear pumpkin,

It still feels soo surreal that tomorrow is our wedding day! And yet, I hate this stupid rule that we are not allowed to see each other 😔. So, I managed to sneak this into your things before you took it, cause I have a lot of things to tell you.

I still can't forget the first time we met in high school. You were a force to be reckoned with. Your confidence, down-to-earth nature, and dedication were really what inspired me. You were literally perfection. And never in my wildest dreams did I expect that such a girl would even talk to me, much less fall in love with. I am really happy that I got assigned to the homecoming committee as punishment, because I got to know you better, and I wouldn't have it another way.

Im not gonna lie, I was scared to love someone so deeply, because I feared that I was going to be abandoned one day. But being with you realized that taking that risk was worth every moment till now. Time nor distance has changed what we had, and even in the future if things change between us, I never want us to forget why we fell in love in the first place.

Its very ironical, that a girl who once feared love and commitment has taken the courage to take this step in life. And you were the one who had given me that. I cannot wait to explore the next steps of our lives, together.

Though Ria is gentle and calm most of the time, when ticked off, she will rage into a wave of cuss words and can give a powerful punch, like when confronting Brian after the spring concert.

Test Muse - Ria Salvator.

Ria Salvator, youngest of six children from one of the founding families of Ibbean (pronounced like the ‘ibbean’ in Caribbean) isle, a summer island in an archipelago on the edge of the Calm Belt. The entire isle is home to families of shifters - people who can, at will, transform into a particular animal. These animals are genetically passed on through family lines, and each family is different.

The Salvator family hosts the Asian water monitor as their animal, able to transform into these massive lizards and gain their abilities. Additionally, the venom they produce is much more highly concentrated than the pure-animal variant, lethal to average-sized men if left untreated.

Ria left home several years ago and works as a traveling bard, joining various crews of pirates, marines, and civilians as she hops from island to island. She sings (Voice Claim to be determined), and plays a hurdy gurdy.

She’s a calm and rational person, logical to the core - almost seeming cold to those who don’t know her.

Her Asian water monitor form is about 5′6″ long.

Random Ria Headcanons

No. 1: When Ria is either scared or very nervous, the scales on her forearms, tail, and neck either stick up or even rattle, similar to a rattlesnakes rattle. No. 2: Ria is a glutton. She may be very physically fit and strong, but if it weren't for her mutations she would be a blob. The gluttony was due to being heavy starved to near death back in the laboratories, and also similar to a Komodo dragons massive and hungry stomach. No. 3: She secretly misses people and society. She may be a recluse, but in reality she desperately wishes to make social contact with another human being other than Jinny. No. 4: She may be a brute and total maniac around adults, but hen it comes to kids she is the biggest baby in existence. Since having her childhood ripped away from her, she feels as if any kid has the right to live, and will kill, or better yet demolish, anybody who dare hurt the kid she had met. No. 4: She is the first experiment to be half warm blood/cold blood. Even though there were multiple types of reptilian and amphibious experiments ere, non were as successful to obtain it as her. This gives her advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantages would be that she can indeed get cold too quick and will need somewhere to heat of for a short while, advantages is that she can at least survive winter.
