joe how do you get inspired to draw original stuff im tired and can only get myself to draw tv show characters and shit
i struggle with this too tbh. however, its also not a bad thing to be drawing stuff from your fav tv shows! learning to adapt something from the style of the show into your style, incorporating elements of the show’s style into your own, and (if its not a cartoon) learning to adapt real ppl into your style are all very good opportunities for artistic growth.
regardless, if you do want to try and focus on original stuff, make it as enticing to you as possible. think about everything you like in various media and shove it all into your original stuff. then it becomes very fun working on it. idk. its tough sometimes, but stick with it!!!!
