So if I had a bolt (9+ yards) of fine weave silk (it isn't chiffon or crepe de chine or brocade? it is...raw? but fairly flexible?)...what would I make with it? What do I call it? You seem like you would know

Well, let’s put it this way; there is enough fabric in 9 yards of fabric to make a big complex bustle dress. 

So, really, this is a LOT of fabric, and you could make almost anything you could dream of out of it. I’d probably make a dress and a couple tops to start with.

I legit screamed when I saw the news just a few minutes ago. Tony Leung is like...my all time favorite actor of any genre or country.

Like, damn you Marvel for sucking me back in.

Honestly, I look at Tony Leung and I’m like 😍. Very curious to see him in this!!

But yeah, I’m mad. Marvel has really disappointed me, and I really don’t want to give them any more money than I have to, but this one I will have to see.

Like, confession time: I’ve seen all fims up to Guardians of the Galaxy, and then Age of Ultron came along and I was like, sorry, but no. Nah. This is bullshit, and I’m not giving you my hard-earned money for this crap.

I’ve only seen Black Panther and Captain Marvel since then (but those I really enjoyed), and skipped all other films. But I’ll have to make a similar exception for Shang-Chi.

Which dichotomy are you running up against? I'm reading Ace by Angela Chen and I feel like my brain has been blown wide.

Just... the general inability of people to see an issue in all its complexity. It’s not black and white.

Oooh, tell me, would you recommend it for a library? I’m still looking for recommendations on ace books, and since I haven’t been reading a lot in my free time, I don’t have a lot of good ideas.
