those tests weren’t a happy place, i like to get lost in words and they always made me feel lost around them instead.

poems especially are more of a flavor for me and I need that to sink in before I start thinking critically about what the words say. Same with songs, I don't necessarily pay attention to the lyrics the first few times listening.
