You don’t have to hate your enemy, you just have to do your - you know, there’s this code of honor and this code of ethics. Morality that are on the opposite sides that do it. And we came up with that: an adversarial or a rivalry between two people that really really really understand each other. They both act as a reflective surface to the other one’s psychology.
