Some thoughts on my former CEO
As many know, I used to work for EA/PopCap. As many also know, John Riccitello, CEO of EA, stepped down yesterday.
My interactions with JR were always positive. He was a man who knew what he wanted and would always ask you how you could make your games better. He would play every single game on PopCamp demo day. He's a guy that loves games and would heap praise on your game if he liked it. He would also not hold back on criticisms where he thought you could use it.
He also had a dry sense of humor calling me an optimist for wearing shorts on a relatively sunny Seattle day....actually that was the day we were acquired and I foolishly had no clue who he was.
