This sushi roll recipe incorporates a variety of fresh fillings wrapped in seasoned sushi rice and nori seaweed. The addition of stir fry sauce adds an extra depth of flavor and makes for a delicious dipping sauce.
Ingredients: 6 nori seaweed sheets. 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned. Assorted fillings e.g., cucumber, avocado, crab sticks. Stir fry sauce of your choice see below.
Instructions: Put a piece of nori on top of the bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of seasoned sushi rice over the nori sheet, making sure to leave a little space at the top. Put the fillings you want in a line down the middle of the rice. Use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi up tightly, and use a little water to seal the edge. With a sharp knife, cut the roll into small pieces that are easy to eat. Give stir fry sauce to dip it in.
