I've drawn Rich before, but I never drew Sugar. So, Bean's parents (Joe's grandparents) Bean and Joe get their looks from her for sure. The colors, the freckles, ect. Bean doesn't get to meet her mom however.

Do y’all speak any different languages?
This is kinda hard for me to explain in drawings so Rich (Joe and Cinnamon's grandfather, their mother's dad) can fluently speak Inkwell 'Polish' Bean (Their mother) can speak it semi fluently And Joe and Cinnamon can pick up bits of conversation in Polish, and speak it very sparingly. Joe and Cinnamon's dad was "inkwell latino" and spoke Spanish, but both boys were too young when he died to learn much. Their uncle taught them some, but very little.
Teen Joe was pretty. Annoying. His grandpa started dealing with the butt of it trying to 'straighten him out' Yeah idk polish. mb. It should be Józefie but. Anyways, Rich is Polish. Originally I was going to make Caramel Polish but.
Sorry I was talking to firecurls about this meme then it clicked this is literally just Rich
figured out a small hoof hack, I'll tweak it from here
So
How did Joe and Tea meet? (Sorry if this has already been asked)
It has, but I'd like to revamp it anyways. My original idea was they met at 8 and 9 years old when Kettle hired Joe for some help around the property, having just got back from injury release at the war. I think I'll keep that part in the story ofc, but Tea and Joe having met at school instead. They'd start the same year with schooling, however Tea was homeschooled until she was 8, and when she did get added to public school, they ended up sitting next to each other, and sharing an annoyance towards Ludwig. Joe's mom is literally the teacher of the school house. For some sprinkled drama however, Tea's aunt Pekoe (who loves her very much btw, treats Tea like a daughter) was raised under the Kettler v Grounds family feuds. Does Pekoe know what started the feud? ...No lmfao, and neither does Joe's grandfather, or his mother. But they despise each other nonetheless. While Tea's aunt had to watch her while Kettle was at war (for about 3 years) both Pekoe and Rich kind of made sure they weren't allowed to be friends. (Which kind of made Bean mad, because she literally could not give any less shits about the stupid family feud from 100 years ago or whatever, just let her boy have a friend.) Keep in mind, both Pekoe and Rich did the little blockade out of care and fear for their families. They both truly thought it was for best. (because they're old and set in their ways lmfao)
felt like drawing pony Rich
Rich (Richard) Grounds, or Bean's dad (Joe/Cinnamon's grandpa) THE SOURCE OF WHY JOE AND CINNAMON ARE FUCKING HAIRY MONSTERS- Okay, okay, anyways. Rich owns (Or I suppose owned) a small bit of farming acreage in Isle One. He's very gentle (usually) and kind, but like his daughter, he doesn't take shit. He didn't get to finish school, but he made sure Bean did. Now, ofc, being a good dad, he's protective of Bean. Doesn't want her getting hurt or into something she shouldn't. So when Spice's family came to Isle One, and the unruly little Spice wanted to be friends with Bean, he was immediately skeptical of this little- whatever he is, he was like a wild animal. Not to mention, Rich despised Spice's dad. He just had a horrible feeling about him. That being said, he would chase Spice off. He wouldn't hurt him or anything ofc, but he didn't want him near either. That is, until Bean started running off to hang out with Spice. That worries him ofc, and he makes a deal with Bean. She can hang out with him, but she has to stay ON the farm. Over time though, he see's that Spice is just a wild child with good intent, so he ends up trusting him. That doesn't mean he's fond of him courting his daughter though. (he gets over it, and also gets over Caramel (Spice's Dad) and tolerates him after realizing he's just troubled.) When Bean and Spice got married, he passes the farm on to them and partially retires ONLY because Bean forces him to chill tf out when he's like, 60 and trying to do farm work. Rich is a great grandpa. He loves his grandsons to death. Bean calls him over to conk the boy's heads together when they get pissy with one another. While he is sweet, he's also, as kind of seen above with Spice, really protective of family. It can sometimes come off as aggressive towards others. He's also stubborn as hell, and despite Bean taking over the farm in his older age, she still has caught him throwing out his back and shit trying to work the farm.
