With the Launch of iOS 10, It’s Time to Update Your Yahoo Mail App

The latest Yahoo Mail update, available for download today, is now fully compatible with iOS 10 and takes advantage of the new operating system to bring you some fresh new features.
Rich Notifications
No need to launch the app to respond to an email. Now when you receive a notification, you can respond directly from your lock-screen, without having to open the app—just delete or mark as read. You can also now expand the preview of your email with a force touch on the notification.
Spotlight Search
If you’re searching for something in Apple’s Spotlight search, now you’ll be able to continue your search directly within the Yahoo Mail App. Just tap the new “Search in App” button to see more results.
In order to get these new features today, first make sure your Apple device is updated to the latest iOS 10. Then update your Yahoo Mail iOS app to Mail 4.7. Note, with this update we will no longer support iOS 8.
