if you're still doing blogrates, the chaos walking trilogy is a really interesting series to read (honestly read it for the rlly great cliffhanger at the end of book 2 but ye)!!

fun fact: one of my close friends gave me the knife of never letting go as a present and when i told him ‘oh yeah it’s one of my favourite sci fi trilogies’ his answer was something along the lines of ‘goddamn it have you read every book ever??’ so yeah, heheh i’ve read and loved this book and yeah i can’t imagine having to wait for book 3 with that cliffhanger??? thank god all the books were out when i read it!!

I cried deliriously at A Monster Calls; I loved the creepy world of More Than This (I still get nightmares abt this book tbh and it’s not even that traditionally scary); and The Rest of Us Just Live Here is the perfect blend of humour and seriousness, magic and reality. If you’ve already read those! then try Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. This could honestly have been a trilogy- it is one DENSE book, but it’s v good. It’s sci fi and space-related and just so imaginatively creative. Fun fact: the same friend who gave me a copy of Knife lent me his copy of Seveneves, which I tabbed w lil comments before returning to him
